First Steps for Governor Corzine

WNYC News | Jul 12, 2010

New Jersey Governor Jon Corzine took a few steps yesterday with the aid of a walker. That's the first time he's walked since the April 12th crash on the Garden State Parkway.

The governor remains in stable condition at Cooper University Hospital in Camden, where he's expected to remain for about another week. And while he's no longer showing signs of tracheo-bronchitis, he's still on oral antibiotics to prevent infection in his broken leg and medication to manage pain.
