Roger Sedarat, born to an Iranian father and American mother, grew up predominantly in San Antonio, Texas. His forthcoming book, Dear Regime: Letters to the Islamic Republic recently won the Hollis Summers Award from Ohio University Press. He has published several articles on American as well as Iranian literature. He currently teaches English and Middle Eastern literature at Borough of Manhattan Community College.
