Violence May Keep High School Basket Ball Out of MSG

Madison Square Garden officials say they may refuse to host future high school basketball championship games after Sunday night's game turned into a brawl.

REPORTER: Fist fights erupted in the stands during the game between Brooklyn rivals Lincoln High and Boys and Girls High. The mayhem then spilled into the streets and subways.

Mayor Bloomberg said the city will have to re-evaluate who is let into the public school tournaments since most of the 19 people arrested did not attend either school.

BLOOMBERG: We're only gonna give tickets to those who participate in the tournament. And it's sad that we have to re-strict access, but when you don't behave appropriately that's unfortunately what happens.

REPORTER: School officials are also saying they are going to make changes in next year's tournament schedule. They say games would be required to be played during the day, not at night.
