Today, the leaders of Conservative Judaism will consider whether to allow gays to get married or be ordained as rabbis.

NYU historian Hasia Diner studies Jewish life in America, and she joins us now to talk about what the debate taking place at a conference in New York may mean for Conservative Jews and others.
