Poll Shows No Majority for Gay Marriage

New York Democratic primary voters favor gay marriage but not by a majority, a new survey shows.
REPORTER: Of 602 likely voters, 48 percent favored gay marriage while 32 percent opposed it, says Jonathan Trichter, director of a state election study poll done by Pace University.
TRICHTER: When you talk about Democrats who vote in New York's primaries, you're talking about a very liberal subset of the general population so for gay marriage not to muster a majority among these liberal voters is significant.
REPORTER: Voters also said jobs, affordable housing and education were among their top concerns in this election year.
