Local Radio Host Wins James Beard Award

Last night, surrounded by the country's top chefs and food and wine professionals, WNYC's Leonard Lopate was awarded a coveted James beard Award for his radio contributions.

The evening's theme was a salute to the many chefs in New Orleans who are struggling to rebuild that unique culinary capitol.
