Obama is Coming to Town--Expect Delays

President Barack Obama is coming to the city this evening for a closed fundraising event after his tour of small businesses in Buffalo this afternoon.

For city commuters that means major subway and bus delays. The MTA says to expect delays or detours between 4:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. on the following bus routes:

M1, M2, M3, M4, M5, M6, M9, M15, Q32, M42, M50, M101, M102, M103, M104, BxM1, BxM2, BxM3, BxM4a, BxM4b, BxM6, BxM7, BxM7a, BxM7b, BxM9, BxM10 and BxM18.

Some subway entrances and exits may also be closed, particularly along the 4, 5, and 6 line at Brooklyn Bridge-City Hall stop, Chambers Street along the J-M-Z line and 5th Avenue - 53rd Street along the E and V lines.
