Sister singing groups have long captured the imaginations of audiences, from the close harmonies of the Andrews sisters in the 1940's to the folk-pop stylings of the Chapin sisters. The sister duo Zambri exchanges the homespun sound for some vintage synthesizers and a large dose of attitude. Like the photos of neon sea creatures on the band's blog, Zambri's music is simultaneously bright and deep. In "Carry Me," featuring John Philpot of Bear in Heaven, the deep-sea synth wonderland is in full bloom.
