The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences announced new diversity and inclusion standards that will be required of films hoping to qualify for a Best Picture nomination, starting in 2024. Eric Kohn, executive editor and chief critic at IndieWire, joins us to discuss what these new diversity requirements are, and how this move from the Academy might change the film industry.
