After Second Crash, Is the Boeing 737 Max Safe?
George Hamlin, aviation consultant, and Gerry Shih, Washington Post Beijing correspondent, talk about concerns over the safety of the Boeing 737 Max after a second crash in five months leads some countries to ground the airplanes and about China's decision to ground the Boeing 737 Max 8 planes.
"Chinese officials have said this nothing to do with trade. They’ve asked Boeing and the FAA... since the October crash in Indonesia, for more information about what really is going on with this model airplane and they haven’t gotten satisfactory answers," says @gerryshih.

"What we have is two crashes that have a pattern… that may be coincidental, they may be two different causes. Let’s not have a third. It’s time for this aircraft to take a rest until we can get to the bottom of what happened," says George Hamlin, aviation consultant.
