JoAnne Akalaitis & Philip Glass on 'MUD/DROWNING,' A Pandemic Trilogy, Ayodele Casel & Torya Beard, Bootsy Collins

[REBROADCAST FROM MARCH 2, 2020] JoAnne Akalaitis and Philip Glass join us to discuss Akalaitis's double bill, "MUD/DROWNING." The production features the work of María Irene Fornés, including the New York premiere of Philip Glass’ transformation of her five-page play, "Drowning," into an opera and a version of Fornés’s, "Mud." Both are directed by Akalaitis with new music composed by Glass.
