Hrishikesh Hirway is the creator and host of the hit podcast Song Exploder, and its Netflix spin-off, in which he breaks down songs with the musicians who made them. In the past, Hirway has also released original music as The One AM Radio and with actor Lakeith Stanfield as Moors. On March 30, he will release his first EP under his own name, titled Rooms I Used To Call My Own, featuring Yo-Yo Ma, Jay Som, and other artists. He joins us for a Listening Party and to preview his upcoming concert at The Bell House on March 21.

A debut novel tells the story of two siblings forced to confront family secrets after their mother dies and leaves behind a traditional Caribbean black cake and a voice recording. Author Charmaine Wilkerson joins us to discuss her novel, Black Cake, as part of our ongoing series, "2022 Debuts."
