Jennifer Grey's Memoir, Listening Party: The Linda Lindas' 'Growing Up,' A New Book on Shame, Twitter & Elon Musk, 2022 Debuts: 'Four Treasures of the Sky'

Actor Jennifer Grey became a household name for her role as Baby in the now-classic film "Dirty Dancing." But her fame did not stop the widespread criticism of her appearance, leading to a plastic surgery that changed the course of Grey's career forever. Grey discusses this, her childhood as the daughter of Broadway legend Joel Grey, her rise to fame, and her attempts to redefine herself in her new memoir, Out of the Corner, which is available on May 3. She joins us to talk about her book.

Last year, a band called The Linda Lindas, consisting of four LA girls, went viral for a performance of their song, "Racist, Sexist Boy" at the Los Angeles Public Library. Since then, they've released a debut album, Growing Up, featuring more driving punk rhythms on teenage life today. All four members of the band, Lucia de la Garza (guitar), Mila de la Garza (drums), Eloise Wong (bass) and Bela Salazar (guitar), join us to talk about the new album, and their string of shows at Irving Plaza this week.
