A new seven-part ESPN docuseries called, "The Captain" tells the story of his career, from his upbringing, his electric early years with the Yankees, his strained relationship with former friend and teammate Alex Rodriguez, and the career changing injury that affected his game forever. Director Randy Wilkins joins us to discuss the series, and getting Jeter to be candid on camera. "The Captain" is available to stream on ESPN + now.

[REBROADCAST FROM APRIL 12, 2022] Pulitzer Prize finalist Chloe Cooper Jones was born with sacral agenesis, a rare congenital condition which has affected both her experience of the world and the way people treat and consider her. In her memoir, Easy Beauty, she grapples with the struggles of living with her disability, but also the triumphs: the joys of motherhood, her travels around the world, and her quest to reconsider what we think of as "beautiful."

[REBROADCAST FROM FEBRUARY 8TH, 2022] The Berlin-based record label Habibi Funk creates curated albums of re-released or newly discovered tracks from all around the Arab world, from the 1950s to the 1980s. The albums feature Lebanese folk, Moroccan disco, Sudanese jazz, and much more. Co-founder and curator Jannis Stürtz joins us to discuss his process for finding these tracks, and we'll listen to some music.

[REBROADCAST FROM APRIL 25TH, 2022] A new documentary chronicles the unlikely transformation of beloved stage musical, "Fiddler on the Roof," to beloved film. Director Daniel Raim joins us to discuss his film, "Fiddler's Journey to the Big Screen," which revisits the adaptation and filming process.
