Fresh off of releasing her memoir last fall, Maybe We'll Make It, musician Margo Price has released her fourth studio album, Strays. She also announced a nationwide tour of the album, and will play in New York at Webster Hall on March 4. Price joins us for a release day Listening Party.
Local author Bushra Rehman's latest book, Roses, in the Mouth of a Lion, follows Razia, a Pakistani-American girl from Corona, Queens, who's rebellious nature with her friends leads to a growing rift between her and her family. When she is accepted to Stuyvesant High School in Manhattan, she meets a girl named Angela, and she begins to feel an attraction that was once unfamiliar, potentially making her relationship with her family and community more complicated. Rehman joins us to discuss the novel.
In 2021, comedian Sam Morrison lost his partner to COVID-19. From that grief emerged his new comedy show, "Sugar Daddy," which explores that tragic loss, his recent Type 1 Diabetes Diagnosis, and more. Morrison joins us to discuss the show, which runs at the SoHo Playhouse through February 17th.
