Angel Olsen’s music has often had the technicolor pop sound of the late 50s and 60s, but lately, she’s also been weaving classic country elements into her music. Now, she’s done a new version of her song “Big Time” and rather than singing the whole thing herself, she’s turned it into a duet with the multiple Grammy winner Sturgill Simpson.  Another musician who has often approached country music from a slightly oblique angle. Their duo version of “Big Time” is part of our Weekly Music Roundup.
