For over 60 years here in New York, the organization called Young Concert Artists, or YCA, has been identifying and promoting young classical musicians. They hold annual competitions, and their list of winners includes some of the foremost names in American classical music. The pianist Aristo Sham, born in Hong Kong and now based in New England, was part of the YCA class of 2018. His concert on Wed., Jan. 18, at noon at the Morgan Library features the popular Schumann Piano Quartet, as well as solo piano works from North and South America. Aristo Sham plays works by Piazzolla, Samuel Barber and Villa-Lobos, on Jan. 18 at the Morgan Library.
