Pianist and bandleader Arturo O’Farrill took the Afro-Latin Jazz Orchestra from New York to the Mexican-American border wall that separates San Diego from Tijuana. There he collaborated with a number of Mexican and Mexican-American musicians on a set of performances that became his new album, Fandango At The Wall. Arturo also brought some guests with his big band, including the Chilean singer and rapper Ana Tijoux, who features on this defiant yet rollicking song called Somos Sur – We Are The South.
