Ben Lerner reads his story “The Polish Rider,” from the June 6 and 13, 2016, issue of the magazine. Lerner is the author of the novels “Leaving the Atocha Station” and “10:04,” and three books of poetry. He’s a 2015 MacArthur Fellow. He has been publishing fiction and nonfiction in The New Yorker since 2012.
