Bernard-Henri Lévy Reflects on Being Jewish Today

The Leonard Lopate Show | Jan 17, 2017

Philosopher, journalist, filmmaker and activist Bernard-Henri Lévy joins us to discuss his latest book, The Genius of Judaism, a memoir and reflection on his own spiritual roots as he reckons with what it means to be a Jew in modern society. Lévy defends Judaism against what he calls the “oldest form of hate,” anti-Semitism, and the “new guise”of anti-Zionist forces, including Holocaust deniers and revisionists.
