To baseball fans, the Big Red Machine will always be the Cincinnati Reds of the mid-70s. But for music fans these days, Big Red Machine is a revolving supergroup centered on the Cincinnati-born Aaron Dessner, from The National, and Justin Vernon from Bon Iver. They’ve just started releasing a string of singles (baseball pun intended), and one, with Taylor Swift, could be a… well, you know – a hit. But another one featuring Anais Mitchell of Hadestown fame, could be the star in this lineup.
