Black Belt Eagle Scout via Winnipeg Folk Festival at home (Live Stream)
Saturday, July 11, at 6PM EDT.

The long list of music festivals that have been cancelled this summer includes the Winnipeg Folk Festival, which now joins the growing list moving their activities online. On Sat., July 11, the festival presents a stellar lineup that includes Australian rocker Courtney Barnett, folk hero Arlo Guthrie, the blues-rockin’ sisters of Larkin Poe, and Native American artists like the hip hop group A Tribe Called Red, and this singer and guitarist, Katherine Paul. She records under the name Black Belt Eagle Scout, and her latest album is called At The Party With My Brown Friends. Black Belt Eagle Scout is one of the many performers taking part in a digital online edition of the Winnipeg Folk Festival at home on Sat., July 11. (Black Belt Eagle Scout also played an in-studio set for the Soundcheck Podcast in 2019.)
