On the Media | Dec 18, 2015

Polls tracking the 2016 election have been making headlines since before candidates had even announced. But as the primaries get closer, some polls will be getting more and more accurate. How, then, to tell important polling headlines from bad ones? This week, our partnership with the data news site FiveThirtyEight continues with another edition of the Breaking News Consumer's Handbook. This time: Election Polls Edition.

Brooke is joined by Harry Enten, senior political writer and analyst, to explain how you can identify accurate polls and stay away from dicey ones... and how to interpret news reports that drum up the drama this election season. You can find more of FiveThirtyEight's political coverage here, and their incredible list of pollster ratings here.
