Protests against police brutality and racist policing practices are continuing every day across New York City. And there’s been a shift from the first week and a half, when property damage AND looting was met by a crackdown from the New York City Police Department. WNYC’s Gwynne Hogan reports that the violence follows a long history of protests against police brutality me by more brutality.
