The Leonard Lopate Show | Sep 14, 2017

Former Israeli prime minister and president Shimon Peres completed his final book No Room for Small Dreams: Courage, Imagination, and the Making of Modern Israel before his death last September. We are joined by his son, Chemi Peres, to discuss the book as well as his father’s life and legacy. Shimon Peres served as prime minister, president, foreign minister and the head of several other ministries. In 1994, he was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize for his efforts to forge peace between Israel and the Palestinians.
