Writer/director Civia Tamarkin and her co-writer Luchina Fisher join us to discuss their documentary “Birthright: A War Story,” which examines the heated battle in America over reproductive healthcare in the United States. It looks at how pro-life advocates and lawmakers are championing policies that turn pregnant women into criminals and put their health at risk.

"Birthright: A War Story" opens at the Village East (189 2nd Ave., between E. 11 and 12th St.) on July 14. The filmmakers behind the movie will hold Q&As at the Village East on the following dates:
