Ganesh Sitaraman, a senior fellow at the Center for American Progress, joins us to discuss his new book, The Crisis of the Middle-Class Constitution: Why Economic Inequality Threatens Our Republic. Sitaraman argues that the Constitution was designed to create economic equality for its citizens. He writes the country has moved away from those designs, and Americans today must choose between an impending oligarchy or rebuilding the middle class.
