David Schoenbrun

The NYPR Archive Collections | Jan 1, 2000

Patricia Marx interviews noted journalist David Schoenbrun, who has recently published his book "Vietnam: How We Got In, How To Get Out" (1968). Mr. Schoenbrun goes into great detail as to how the United States can bring an end to the Vietnam War, which would be through peace talks. However, Mr. Schoenbrun is pessimistic on the matter for the reason that The US government does not want to appear to have lost the war. Schoenbrun also discusses the threat that China poses, and what the United States should do post -Vietnam.
