Debate Grades From Candidates’ Beat Reporters

Three public radio reporters - each of whom has been closely following their local candidate - "grade" the candidates' performances in last night's GOP debate.

Shawn Johnson, Wisconsin Public Radio’s State Capitol reporter, discusses Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker. John O’Connor, politics and education reporter for WLRN Public Radio Miami, explains Jeb Bush's and Marco Rubio's performances. And Matt Katz, New Jersey Public Radio reporter and the creator of The Christie Tracker, assesses New Jersey Governor Chris Christie.
