Governor Cuomo and his pick for Lt Governor Kathy Hochul fended off challengers Zephyr Teachout and Tim Wu in the Democratic primary last night -- in an election that saw less than 10% of registered Democrats turn out to vote. Meanwhile, in New York City, voters rejected State Senator Malcom Smith, but embattled State Senator John Sampson won his primary.
