In his staged works No Place To Go and The Outer Space, things like office life and noisy neighbors are looked at from odd angles, and even moving to another planet doesn’t really help. Lipton’s next album is Did You Do The Thing We Talked About? and he’s just released the single “Mess That Summer,” a song that will resonate with anyone who’s ever been through a rough patch. Ethan Lipton & His Orchestra return to Joe's Pub to play songs from their upcoming fifth studio album, Did You Do The Thing We Talked About? On Jan. 25-26.
