ETHEL via The Greene Space (Live Stream)
Jan. 14. 7PM EST. RSVP for Free Access.
ETHEL is a string quartet based here in New York that for years has been championing new music from often surprising corners of the music world, including arranging the noisey relentless fun of joyful and eyeball-singeing electronic music by composer Dan Friel (Parts & Labor, Upper Wilds.) ETHEL, by the way, was the first band to ever play in The Greene Space in 2009. On Thursday, Jan. 14, ETHEL makes a virtual return to our ground floor performance studio. Music from medieval composer Hildegard of Bingen, "Valedictorian" by Dan Friel, and music by rock star Todd Rundgren are all on the program. The concert streams for free via Youtube and Facebook. Â
