What Faith Taught David Gregory About Humility
President George W. Bush once asked David Gregory (then-host of "Meet the Press"), "Gregory, how's your faith?"
That question really stuck with Gregory as an invitation for self-examination.
David Gregory, former host of "Meet the Press" and author of How's Your Faith?: An Unlikely Spiritual Journey (Simon & Schuster, 2015), and his instructor in Judaism Erica Brown, religious educator and the author of Take Your Soul to Work: 365 Meditations on Every Day Leadership (Simon & Schuster, 2015), talk about work and faith.
And, because Brian couldn't help but ask, Gregory briefly weighed in on last night's Republican debate. He reacted to Christie's vow to shoot down Russian planes in no-fly zones:
"This kind of sloppy talk in the course of campaigns is normal...but you know what, the world looks a whole lot different once you’re in the chair."
→ Event: David Gregory and Erica Brown will join Rabbi Peter J. Rubinstein in conversation at the 92nd Street Y tonight, December 16, at 7:30pm. Click here for tickets and more information.
