Christmastime in Southern Italy has its own special flair, with the proceedings overseen by La Befana, the good witch of Christmas, and lots of puppets, music, and a stilt-walking Angel Gabriel. Here in the States, that tradition is kept alive by the singer and percussionist Alessandra Belloni and her merry band, I Giulliari di Piazza who perform a program of holiday music and theatre from Southern Italy, tonight through Dec. 22, at Theater For The New City.
