Algiers is a three piece rock band from the American South that now splits its time variously between NYC and London. Their self-titled debut was released last year and is an electrifying cross of gospel hollers and blazing punk. Tonight, they'll put the tunes to work in interstitial sets during a screening of the film "Burn to Shine: Atlanta" -- the sixth in a series of films in which bands, all from the same city, play a house that is about to be torn down.
