Cyrille Aimée was raised in France by a French father and a Dominican mother. She says she snuck out her window as a child to wander through gypsy camps and listen to the flickering Django Reinhardt guitar sounds they produced. Today, she transposes those sounds onto her interpretations of jazz classics and originals. Here’s her version of the standard “Love me or Leave Me.”
