Gig Alert: Early Music NY at Cathedral of St. John the Divine
Tickets: $40-50. Concerts at 2pm and 5pm.

Christmas, bah humbug!  If you’re heartily sick of hearing Christmas music by now, we’ve got a show for you. Early Music New York, a veteran ensemble led by Frederick Renz, is doing a concert of music by some of the great Renaissance composers of northern France and the Lowlands.  Works by Dufay, Lassus, Josquin des Prez, and more. It’s called… a Burgundian Christmas. But wait, it’s all… y’know, Burgundian, so you’ll never know it’s Christmas music. Probably.

Early Music New York performs at 2pm and 5pm in the Cathedral of St John the Divine.
