There are a number of reasons you might remember the 2006 movie “Borat.” Most of them are gross, or highly offensive. But there’s one that’s actually just plain awesome: a roaring gypsy version of Steppenwolf’s “Born to be Wild.” It was performed by the ridiculously upbeat Romanian brass band Fanfare Ciocarlia. They’ve just turned 20, and their new record, Onwards to Mars is wonderful, toe-tapping — head-banging — stuff. Fanfare Ciocarlia rips the roof off The Town Hall tonight.
