Gig Alert: Jason Moran & The Wordless Music Orchestra play live score to "Selma" at Celebrate Brooklyn

The movie Selma was an award-winning film about the civil rights movement, and it sported a ear-catching score by Jason Moran. The gifted jazz pianist has led his own group, the Bandwagon, for over a decade, and his compositions include everything from chamber music to hip hop to gospel. Tonight, Jason Moran and the Wordless Music Orchestra will play his original music to a screening of the film at the bandshell in Prospect Park as part of the BRIC Celebrate Brooklyn festival.
