The singer and songwriter known as Sirintip was born in Thailand, grew up in Sweden, and now lives here in New York. She’s about to release her debut album in early February, and it’s full of slightly left-of-center pop, with touches of electronic dance music, and jazz, and in this song, perhaps a nod to the shape-shifting vocals of Kate Bush. The lead single is called “Shut It Up” and we’re premiering the track today as part of our Weekly Music Roundup.
