The L.A. band called This Will Destroy You is not nearly as threatening as its name might sound. In fact, their music quite welcoming… literally. If you are lucky and wealthy enough to go to the much buzzed about new L.A. restaurant called Vespertine, you will be welcomed by a musical soundscape by This Will Destroy You. They actually wrote music for each part of the restaurant’s new building. But they have also made music that’s more clearly connected to rock’s experimental stream, like this piece called "Leather Wings."
