Gov. Murphy eyes a greener NJ amid political pushback — from both parties

Ask Governor Murphy | Aug 15, 2023

In response to climate change, New Jersey Gov. Phil Murphy wants to offer incentives for consumers to choose electric appliances over natural gas. But New Jersey Republicans like State Senator Holly Schepisi says the governor is going too far. He's also pushing for more wind energy, even as some of his fellow Democratic leaders say they want more answers before moving ahead.

On "Ask Governor Murphy" Tuesday night at 7 p.m., Nancy Solomon will ask the governor about his plans for a greener New Jersey amid resistance from both sides of the political aisle. She'll also ask the governor about his fight over Manhattan's congestion pricing -- and the lawsuit New Jersey officials launched to stop it. We’ll take your calls as well.
