Gregorio Uribe is from Colombia, although he’s lived and worked here in New York for many years now. His band is one of America’s most reliable proponents of the insistent cumbia rhythm of Colombian dance music, and if you show up at Bryant Park tonight at 6pm, you can learn the dance steps that go with this music. Then at 7pm, you can put your new moves to work when Uribe and his band lead the dance party this evening at Bryant Park’s Fountain Terrace.
