Heather Woods Broderick has spent time playing in several bands, including Horse Feathers with her brother, the composer/multi-instrumentalist Peter Broderick, and the Danish band synthpop band Efterklang. Left to her own devices, she often plays intimate, sometimes melancholy songs for voice and acoustic guitar. But she’s also been known to plug in and turn up the amps. Heather Woods Broderick plays tonight, sharing a bill with Laura Gibson at Wonders of Nature, in Brooklyn.
