The Hold Steady "Massive Nights" at Brooklyn Bowl via FANS (Live Stream)
Dec. 3, 4 at 9PM. Dec. 5 at 5PM. $15, or $40 for all three nights

Most songs by The Hold Steady are basically short stories – usually of young people making bad decisions around the margins of society. With lead vocalist Craig Finn’s spoken/sung delivery and the band’s almost Springsteen-like heartland rock sound, they’re stories told with affection and with the possibility, at least, of redemption. Positivity has long been a trademark of The Hold Steady, both in its songs and in its relationship with its fans. Another trademark has been their annual residency at Brooklyn Bowl, "Massive Nights," and while the audience won’t be there this year, the band will. The Hold Steady plays three nights of live-streamed shows Thursday-Saturday evenings, Dec. 3-5, at Brooklyn Bowl.
