How'd You Learn to Behave on a Train?

WNYC News | Jul 31, 2017

We've said from the beginning that our goal here is to bring some accountability to our transit system. A big part of that was sharing your concerns with the MTA last week.

But we riders also have the ability—and, dare we say, responsibility?—to treat each other with respect and decency.

So this week, we want to hear your stories not about how well behaved you are, or how annoying it is to hear through someone else's headphones. We want your stories about a time you learned something from another rider's good train behavior. Tweet using #WeTheCommuters, or leave us a voicemail at 855-869-9692. We'll share your stories all week, and compile them into a We the Commuters Etiquette Guide.
