Howless is a quartet from Mexico City who will be releasing their debut album in 2022. In fact, on their Facebook page they recently posted that they’d finally finished all the recording, and were, “so excited and melancholy.” On the evidence of their first single, “Levels,” there’s not too much to be sad about. Despite describing their album’s mood as “nervous foreboding” on their Bandcamp page, this is a sparkling piece of indie-pop, led by Dominique Sanchez’s ethereal vocals and elliptical lyrics. “Levels,” is the first single from the Mexican band Howless, and it's part of our Weekly Music Roundup.
