The British band called Idles is angry about the xenophobia and nationalism and general mean-spiritedness they see around them. They’re angry, but they’re also clever, and pretty funny. So rather than yelling at us about what’s wrong, they find interesting turns of phrase like “Islam didn’t eat your hamster/Change isn’t a crime.” It’s from this new Idles song called “Great,” whose chorus practically demands that you sing along. The video for “Great” by the Bristol-based group IDLES is part of our Weekly Music Roundup.
