As Infection Rates Rise, New York City Closes Public School Buildings Once Again

After pouring resources into reopening the public schools, Mayor de Blasio followed through on a pledge to close buildings if the seven-day Covid-19 positivity rate reached 3 percent. Now students will have to continue school from home until the week after Thanksgiving at least.
