Joselin Linder joins us to discuss her book The Family Gene: A Mission to Turn My Deadly Inheritance into a Hopeful Future. When Linder was in her 20s, she was diagnosed with a strange and deadly medical condition. After years of investigating medical records and family history, she discovered that it was a genetic disease shared by 14 people in her family. Her book deals with her own story of survival and perseverance in the face of fatal illness.
